Fully assembled sauna delivery
Plan a similar sauna for your garden
This project shows how a fully assembled sauna can be delivered and placed in one step, without any on-site construction.
A high-quality outdoor sauna requires a stable and accurately prepared foundation.
For this project in Drogheda, Polaris Sauna installed a 2.4m Premium Cube Sauna at the rear of the customer’s garden. Shortly before delivery, a suitable screw-pile foundation was installed so that the sauna could be positioned securely and level.
The sauna is constructed from solid Thermowood and finished with black shingles extending down to ground level. This creates a distinctive, modern appearance while providing additional protection against the weather.
After installation, the wood-burning stove and chimney system were commissioned and tested. The sauna was then handed over to the customer fully operational and ready for use.
Project Overview
The 2.4m Premium Cube Sauna is built from solid Thermowood and was installed on a previously prepared screw-pile foundation.
The main features include:
- black shingles extending down to ground level
- Harvia Linear 18 Compact wood-burning stove
- sauna stones and protective shields
- lockable full-glass entrance door
- full timber rear wall
- LED lighting along the benches
- alder flooring
Preparing the Screw-Pile Foundation
The screw-pile foundation was installed shortly before the sauna installation.
The piles were positioned according to the structural support points of the sauna and carefully levelled. This created a stable base without the need for a large concrete slab.
A level foundation is important to ensure that the sauna remains correctly aligned and that the walls, roof and entrance door do not move or distort over time.

Installing the Sauna at the Rear of the Garden
The sauna was positioned in the rear section of the garden.
This location provides greater privacy and transforms an underused part of the garden into a dedicated wellness area.
Once the sauna had been placed on the screw-pile foundation, it was carefully aligned and levelled before the remaining installation work was completed.

Solid Thermowood Construction and Full Shingle Coverage
The sauna is constructed from solid Thermowood.
The material is well suited to outdoor use and gives the sauna a warm and high-quality appearance.
A distinctive feature of this model is the black shingle covering. The shingles do not only cover the roof but continue down the curved sides to ground level.
This gives the sauna a clean, enclosed appearance and provides additional protection from rain, wind and moisture.
Harvia Linear 18 Compact Wood-Burning Stove
The sauna was fitted with a Harvia Linear 18 Compact wood-burning stove.
Protective shields and the appropriate sauna stones were installed as part of the final setup.
Once the stove and chimney had been completed, the system was checked and fired for the first time to confirm that the chimney produced suitable draught and that the stove operated correctly.
Commissioning and Handover
After all work had been completed, the sauna was inspected carefully.
The structure, entrance door, lighting, stove and chimney system were checked before the final handover.
Following successful commissioning, the sauna was handed over to the customer fully operational and ready for use.
Final Result
The completed Premium Cube Sauna now forms a private sauna area at the rear of the garden.
The combination of solid Thermowood construction, full black shingle coverage, a screw-pile foundation and a traditional wood-burning stove creates a durable and high-quality outdoor sauna suitable for year-round use.
