Cold Plunge FAQs

We offer two premium versions: fiberglass and stainless steel.
The fiberglass shell is smooth, hygienic, and easy to clean, while the stainless steel version provides unmatched durability and a sleek, modern look. Both are paired with Thermowood or steel exterior cladding for strength and design.

Fiberglass is lightweight, easy to maintain, and excellent at keeping water cool. Stainless steel is extremely strong, resistant to corrosion, and built for decades of use. The choice comes down to personal preference: natural and insulating (fiberglass) or ultra-modern and virtually indestructible (stainless).

Yes. Fiberglass is UV-stable and stainless steel is unaffected by sunlight. Both can handle rain, frost, and outdoor use year-round. The exterior cladding (wood) should be oiled once or twice a year for best appearance.

With proper care, a cold plunge will last 15 years or more. Stainless steel models are often chosen for extreme durability, while fiberglass versions remain popular for their comfort and easy maintenance.

– Fiberglass: rinse with water, use mild detergent, avoid abrasive cleaners.
– Stainless steel: wipe with soft cloth, use mild stainless cleaners if needed, avoid chloride-based products.
– Wood cladding: oil once or twice a year.

Yes. Both fiberglass and stainless steel surfaces are smooth, non-porous, and hygienic. They are safe for sensitive skin and designed for regular use.

They arrive fully assembled. No complicated installation is required – just place the plunge in position, fill with water, and enjoy.

Yes. A stable and level base is essential, as a filled plunge weighs over one ton. Concrete, decking, or compacted gravel are recommended. Screw foundations may also work but need to be planned individually.

Empty fiberglass versions can be carried by 2–3 people. Stainless steel is heavier and may require extra help or equipment. Once filled, both versions must stay on their foundation.

Not necessarily. You can fill the plunge with a garden hose and drain it with the built-in valve. If you add a chiller or filtration system, an electrical connection (usually 230 V) will be required.

Yes. As long as it is emptied, it can be relocated. Stainless steel models are heavier but still movable if you redesign your garden or move house.

No, this is not necessary.

Delivery times for cold plunges are usually 6–8 weeks. This allows for manufacturing, quality control, and secure transport from our partners to your location in Ireland. Customizations (such as choice of stainless steel or fiberglass, special accessories, or finishes) may affect the timeline. During busy periods, we will always provide you with an estimated delivery window and keep you updated.

Yes. We include free curbside delivery across the Republic of Ireland for all standard orders. This ensures a transparent, worry-free buying process. For remote areas, islands, or places requiring sea transport, additional costs may apply — but we will always discuss these clearly in advance.

Every cold plunge is individually inspected before leaving the factory and carefully packed to prevent transport damage. However, in the rare event that something goes wrong, simply contact us within 48 hours and provide photos. We will repair or replace any damaged parts quickly and at no extra cost, so you can enjoy your plunge without delay.

We offer a 2-year warranty covering all manufacturing defects, structural elements, and included systems (such as chillers or filtration). This ensures peace of mind and confidence in your purchase. Even beyond the warranty period, we continue to provide support and spare parts, because we see our cold plunges as long-term wellness investments for our clients.

Yes. We stock and supply spare parts such as lids, filters, chillers, pumps, cladding panels, and fittings even years after your purchase. This allows you to maintain, refresh, or upgrade your plunge at any time — ensuring it stays in top condition for decades.

Yes, collection by appointment is possible. Many customers prefer delivery, but if you have a suitable trailer or large vehicle, self-collection can save time. We’ll ensure the plunge is safely loaded and provide instructions for secure transport. Please note that stainless steel versions are heavier, so proper lifting equipment may be required.

This depends on how you use the plunge. Without any filtration or water treatment, the water should be replaced every few days to one week to keep it fresh and hygienic. With an optional filtration system, UV light, or ozone treatment, you can extend water life significantly and reduce maintenance effort. Many of our customers combine their plunge with a small filter set, as it allows them to enjoy clean and clear water over longer periods with minimal work.

Yes, both fiberglass and stainless steel are perfectly capable of holding warm water. Some clients use their plunge as a versatile wellness pool, filling it with warm water for relaxation in summer evenings. However, the main design is for cold immersion therapy. If your goal is frequent warm-water bathing, then a hot tub is the better choice, as it includes heating and insulation specifically built for that purpose.

Absolutely. In fact, winter plunging is one of the most popular ways to enjoy this product. Stepping into ice-cold water while surrounded by crisp air or even snow is a powerful wellness experience. Our cold plunges are built to handle freezing conditions, but you should make sure the water does not freeze inside when not in use. Using an insulated cover helps reduce ice formation, and draining the plunge before long periods of inactivity in frost is recommended.

Cold immersion has become a global wellness trend, supported by athletes, health experts, and sauna enthusiasts. Regular use can:
– Stimulate blood circulation and strengthen your cardiovascular system
– Reduce muscle soreness and inflammation after sports or workouts
– Strengthen the immune system through hormetic stress response
– Improve mental health by reducing stress hormones and boosting endorphins
– Support better sleep and overall energy levels

When combined with sauna use, cold plunging creates a contrast therapy that multiplies these benefits — the hot/cold cycle is a traditional Nordic health practice with a long history.

Cold plunging is safe for most healthy adults. However, people with serious heart disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or circulatory disorders should consult a doctor before beginning. Pregnant women or people with chronic conditions should also get medical advice first. Even healthy beginners should approach cold immersion gradually, starting with short dips and slowly building tolerance.

Most beginners start with 30 seconds to 2 minutes. As the body adapts, immersion can be extended to 3–5 minutes or more, depending on comfort and personal goals. Remember that cold therapy is about consistency, not endurance — short, regular plunges bring more long-term benefits than forcing very long stays. Listen to your body, and always exit the plunge before you feel numb or uncomfortable.
