Fully assembled sauna delivery
Plan a similar sauna for your garden
This project shows how a fully assembled sauna can be delivered and placed in one step, without any on-site construction.
This project in Cork involved the installation of a Comfort Cube Sauna 1.7 m featuring a mirrored glass front, Thermowood construction, extended shingles, and a Cozy 12 wood-burning stove.
The main challenge of this installation was that there was no direct access to the garden. All sauna components had to be transported through the customer’s house before assembly could begin.
Despite these logistical challenges, the project was completed successfully within the planned two-day installation schedule.
Project Overview
Location: Cork, Ireland
Sauna Type: Comfort Cube Sauna 1.7 m
Heater: Cozy 12 wood-burning stove
Front Design: Mirrored glass front
Material: Thermowood
Roof Option: Extended shingles down to ground level
Delivery Type: On-site assembly
Special Situation: No direct garden access, all components transported through the house
Planning and Preparation
Before delivery, several discussions were held with the customer to ensure that all sauna components could be transported safely through the house.
Since there was no side entrance or alternative route into the garden, careful planning was essential. The dimensions of the components and the available access points were reviewed in advance to ensure a smooth installation process.
The foundation had already been prepared by the customer before the installation team arrived.

Delivery and Transport Through the House
The sauna was delivered on schedule by the freight company.
After unloading the truck, the most challenging phase of the project began. Every component of the sauna had to be carefully carried through the house and into the rear garden.
Thanks to the preparation work completed beforehand, all parts could be moved safely without causing damage to either the property or the sauna components.
Once all materials had been transported into the garden, the assembly process could begin.
Foundation Levelling and Assembly
The foundation had already been completed but included the necessary slope for water drainage.
Before the sauna could be assembled, this slope had to be compensated for. The support feet of the sauna were individually adjusted so that the entire structure was perfectly level.
This is a very important step during any sauna installation. If a sauna is not level, the structure may gradually move or distort over time. In the worst case, doors may no longer close properly and unnecessary stress can be placed on various structural components.
Only after the sauna had been fully levelled could the assembly process begin.
The complete installation was finished within the planned two-day schedule.

Thermowood Construction, Mirrored Glass Front and Extended Shingles
The sauna is constructed from high-quality Thermowood, a material known for its excellent dimensional stability, durability, and suitability for outdoor use.
One of the most striking design features of this project is the mirrored glass front. It creates a modern and elegant appearance while also providing additional privacy during daylight hours.
To further protect the sauna from Irish weather conditions, extended roof shingles were installed down to ground level along the side walls. These not only provide additional protection against wind and rain but also create a distinctive premium appearance.
The combination of Thermowood, the mirrored glass front, and the extended shingles allows the sauna to blend beautifully into the garden while maintaining a contemporary architectural style.
Cozy 12 Wood-Burning Stove
The sauna is equipped with a Cozy 12 wood-burning stove.
This heater is perfectly suited for a sauna of this size and provides an authentic sauna experience with pleasant radiant heat and the atmosphere created by a real wood fire.
After the installation was completed, the first firing of the stove was carried out by our team to ensure that all components were operating correctly and that the sauna was ready for use.

Final Result
After two days of installation, the completed Comfort Cube Sauna became an elegant focal point within the garden.
Despite the challenging access conditions, the project was completed on schedule and to a very high standard. The combination of Thermowood, the mirrored glass front, extended shingles, and the Cozy 12 stove creates a premium outdoor sauna with a modern yet timeless appearance.

Conclusion
This project demonstrates that professional sauna installations are possible even when there is no direct access to the garden.
With careful planning, thorough preparation, and an experienced installation team, all components were transported safely through the house and assembled on site without compromise.
The result is a beautifully finished Comfort Cube Sauna 1.7 m that fits perfectly into its surroundings and will provide many years of authentic wood-fired sauna enjoyment.
