We can advise on foundation options and coordinate installation through trusted partners if required.
Self-Assembly with a DIY Kit
For customers who enjoy working with their hands, we offer our saunas as a DIY kit. Each set includes all pre-fabricated parts along with detailed instructions, allowing you to assemble your sauna step by step at your own pace. This is the most cost-effective option and also a rewarding experience, as you take part in building your own sauna.
Assembly by Our Professional Team
If you prefer to leave the work to the experts, our professional installation teams will take care of everything. We deliver the sauna to your home, assemble it on site with precision, and ensure every detail is perfectly in place. This saves you time and effort. So your sauna is ready to enjoy without any hassle.
Fully Assembled Delivery – Crane Service
We can deliver your sauna fully assembled and position it using a HIAB truck-mounted crane. The vehicle must be able to access the property and park close enough to the installation area for safe lifting onto the prepared foundation. As lifting distance and access conditions vary, we recommend reviewing photos, videos or arranging a site check in advance to ensure a smooth installation.
Deliveries are carried out using a large truck (approx. 17 m length). Suitable road access, turning space and unloading area are required. Unloading is included. We do not operate on a kerbside-only basis.
For DIY kits, sufficient space must be available to transport components from the unloading point to the final installation area. For fully assembled deliveries, HIAB access, clear overhead space and stable ground conditions are required.
We recommend reviewing access in advance to avoid delays or complications on delivery day.
For electric sauna heaters, all electrical work must be carried out by a certified electrician engaged by the customer. Polaris Sauna Ltd does not provide electrical installation services and does not connect heaters, control units or other electrical equipment to the property’s electrical system. Polaris Sauna Ltd may install sauna equipment and route manufacturer-supplied sensor and control cables within the sauna structure. The customer’s electrician is responsible for providing the electrical supply, completing all electrical wiring, making the final electrical connections and commissioning the installation.
Electric sauna heaters from manufacturers such as Harvia and HUUM are designed to operate on either 230 V single-phase or 400 V three-phase power. The required supply does not depend solely on the heater power (kW), but on the manufacturer’s specifications for the specific model.
Most homes in Ireland and the UK are supplied with 230 V single-phase power. Some heater models can operate on this supply, while others require a three-phase connection.
The suitability of the existing electrical installation, including cable sizing, circuit protection and available capacity, must always be assessed by a qualified electrician before installation.
Depending on the heater model and the property’s electrical capacity, a three-phase supply, an upgrade of the main service fuse or a load-management solution may be required.
Wood-burning sauna heaters do not require an electrical connection for heating operation.
A sauna heater generates significant heat inside the cabin. For safe and efficient operation, it is important that the sauna is placed in a suitable location with sufficient space around it, good air circulation and a stable, level foundation.
During a site visit, we are happy to assess access, positioning and foundation options together with you and share our practical experience.
As every property is different, we recommend confirming the final location and surroundings with your electrician, local planning authority or builder to ensure that the installation environment is fully suitable.
This helps to ensure long-term safety, proper ventilation and compliance with local requirements.
Every installation includes a detailed handover and operational guidance.
Your warranty becomes active immediately after installation and covers the wood structure, heater, and accessories according to the manufacturer’s terms.
Our support team is available for any questions after delivery.
Every property is different. If you are unsure which delivery method or foundation solution is best for your site, send us photos or arrange a consultation. We will advise you on the most practical and cost-efficient option for your project.
