From DIY kits to fully assembled HIAB placement, we coordinate each project carefully to ensure a smooth and stress-free installation.
Screw piles are a fast and efficient alternative to traditional concrete bases. They provide a stable, durable foundation with minimal ground disturbance and no curing time.
Benefits include:
We can advise on foundation options and coordinate installation through trusted partners if required.
Self-Assembly with a DIY Kit
For customers who enjoy working with their hands, we offer our saunas as a DIY kit. Each set includes all pre-fabricated parts along with detailed instructions, allowing you to assemble your sauna step by step at your own pace. This is the most cost-effective option and also a rewarding experience, as you take part in building your own sauna.
Assembly by Our Professional Team
If you prefer professional assembly, our experienced team will deliver the sauna, assemble it on site and complete the agreed installation with care. Where included, we will also install the manufacturer-supplied 12/24 V under-bench LED system and route the supplied sensor and data cables.
For a wood-fired sauna, we will commission the stove and guide you through its safe operation as part of the handover. For an electrically heated sauna, the final electrical stage, including all 230 V or 400 V connections, sensor and data cable connections, testing and commissioning, is completed by the customer’s electrician.
Fully Assembled Delivery – Crane Service
We can deliver your sauna fully assembled and position it using a HIAB truck-mounted crane. The vehicle must be able to access the property and park close enough to the installation area for safe lifting onto the prepared foundation. As lifting distance and access conditions vary, we recommend reviewing photos, videos or arranging a site check in advance to ensure a smooth installation.
Deliveries are carried out using a large truck (approx. 17 m length). Suitable road access, turning space and unloading area are required. Unloading is included. We do not operate on a kerbside-only basis.
For DIY kits, sufficient space must be available to transport components from the unloading point to the final installation area. For fully assembled deliveries, HIAB access, clear overhead space and stable ground conditions are required.
We recommend reviewing access in advance to avoid delays or complications on delivery day.
For electric sauna heaters, the customer must appoint a qualified electrician to complete the electrical installation. Polaris Sauna may mechanically install the supplied heater, control panel, temperature sensor and door sensor and route the manufacturer-supplied sensor and data cables within the sauna structure. Where included, Polaris Sauna also installs the manufacturer-supplied 12/24 V under-bench LED system on the extra-low-voltage output side of the transformer or LED driver.
Polaris Sauna does not carry out any 230 V or 400 V wiring or connections and does not connect electrical equipment to the property’s electrical system. The customer’s electrician is responsible for providing the electrical supply, connecting the sensor and data cables to the heater, power unit or control unit, completing all mains connections and testing and commissioning the electrical installation.
Electric sauna heaters from manufacturers such as Harvia and HUUM may operate on either 230 V single-phase or 400 V three-phase power, depending on the specific model and manufacturer’s requirements. The required power supply cannot be determined from the heater output in kilowatts alone.
Most homes in Ireland and the UK have a 230 V single-phase supply. Some heater models can operate on this supply, while others require a three-phase connection. The suitability of the existing electrical installation, including available capacity, cable sizing and circuit protection, must always be assessed by the customer’s electrician.
Depending on the heater model and the property’s electrical capacity, a three-phase supply, an upgrade to the main electrical service or a suitable load-management solution may be required.
Wood-burning sauna heaters do not require an electrical connection for heating operation. Where professional assembly is included, Polaris Sauna will commission the wood-burning stove and guide the customer through its safe operation as part of the handover.
A sauna heater generates significant heat inside the cabin. For safe and efficient operation, it is important that the sauna is placed in a suitable location with sufficient space around it, good air circulation and a stable, level foundation.
During a site visit, we are happy to assess access, positioning and foundation options together with you and share our practical experience.
As every property is different, we recommend confirming the final location and surroundings with your electrician, local planning authority or builder to ensure that the installation environment is fully suitable.
This helps to ensure long-term safety, proper ventilation and compliance with local requirements.
Every professional installation includes a clean handover and basic operating guidance.
For private residential use, manufacturer warranty coverage applies in accordance with the terms of the individual product and component and may extend up to two years.
Private customers also receive a complimentary 1-year Polaris On-Site Repair Service within the mainland Republic of Ireland for accepted claims. The service period begins on the date of delivery.
Commercial warranty and service coverage is specified separately in the individual quotation and order confirmation.
Every property is different. If you are unsure which delivery method or foundation solution is best for your site, send us photos or arrange a consultation. We will advise you on the most practical and cost-efficient option for your project.
