At Polaris Sauna, you can choose between three options: assemble your garden sauna with a DIY sauna kit, book our professional installation service in your garden, or receive a fully pre‑assembled outdoor sauna delivered ready to use.
The steps and photos below show the assembly carried out in production to prepare a complete unit for delivery.
Step 1: Foundation and Base
The support feet are positioned and connected exactly to plan. This base carries the full structure and keeps the sauna level.
Step 2: Preparing the Floor
The floor frame is aligned and secured. Accuracy here ensures stable walls, benches, and fittings later on.
Step 3: Walls and Glass Front
Wall planks are installed one by one. After roughly half the height, the distinctive half‑moon glass front is fitted. Minor fingerprints or marks on treated wood can easily be repainted afterwards.
Step 4: Roof Construction
Weatherproof shingles protect the roof. On low‑slope areas, a membrane is added to keep moisture out. In production, shingles are heat‑bonded to withstand transport; for DIY installation in a garden, standard fastening is sufficient.
Step 5: Door and Chimney
The door is made from spruce for flexibility and long‑term durability. A hot‑water tank can be mounted on the chimney to provide heated water for infusions and reduce thermal shock to the stones.
Step 6: Interior Installation
Pre‑fabricated benches are installed. Final checks follow: sealing, cleaning, and verifying fit so the sauna is ready for use.
Step 7: Completed Sauna
After production assembly, the unit is reinforced for transport and prepared for delivery as a complete, weatherproof outdoor sauna.
